Sarah Shriver, based in Northern California and recognized as one of the early masters of the medium, has been influencing the polymer clay community for the past thirty years with her unique approach to building canes and kaleidoscopes for jewelry and bead applications.

Inspired by shifts in nature’s patterns, she has recently transitioned to creating light, delicate hollow pieces that embrace optimism and playfulness. Her work—open to endless interpretation—reflects an exciting new chapter in her artistic evolution, where expression and nature meet in harmony.

  • Techniques for working with translucent clays to create colorful, dynamic surfaces

  • Your own personal style through the exploration of texture and color

Learn how to create fantastic, colorful, hollow "fruit" objects with Sarah. You'll personalize your forms by crafting unique shapes and color combinations. Using thin sheets of translucent clay combined with additional mediums, each piece will take on its own exciting personality. The resulting creations can become lightweight hanging sculptures, jewelry, or simply unique objets d'art!
